Description

Chandigarh Business School has a very clear perspective of becoming an academically responsive institution to the requirements of the corporate world. It has set for itself the goals of flair for innovation and capacity for adapting to the changes in business scenario. The Institute is proud of its highly competent, committed, well-experienced and qualified core faculty. The students are encouraged to approach faculty members after class hours to get their doubts clarified and difficulties removed. The Institute has a well-established Training & Placement cell which function under the supervision of full-time Training and placement officer.


The courses offered by CBS are designed to instil innovation, leadership, team work and global focus into its participants. The students are exposed to real life unstructured situations so as to provide them the framework, skills and analytical tools to manage in diverse situations.  The students also undergo the summer internship training in their respective sessions. The internship is designed to give the students a first hand perspective of the organizations as they live, work and grow. These programmes provide an opportunity to the students to work in organizations across the world and bring the learning into the Programme.

 

Chandigarh Business School (CBS) Courses offered

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

    Duration:- 3 Years

    Eligibility:

    All the students who have successfully completed their 10+2 curriculum with minimum 50% marks in any stream will be eligible for the course. Knowledge of mathematics and economics will be beneficial and preference will be given to such students.

     

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

    DURATION:-  2 Years

    ELIGIBILITY:-

    A minimum of 3 years bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE.

    SELECTION PROCEDURE:-

    Selection to the programme is based on the qualification the State entrance examination successfully as per the University prescribed procedure.

  • Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

    DURATION:-  3 Years

    ELIGIBILITY:-

    All those candidates who have any recognized Bachelor Degree with minimum three years duration in any discipline, with Mathematics at 10+2 school level or have passed BCA of minimum three years duration from any recognized University

    SELECTION PROCEDURE:-

    Selection to the programme is based on the qualification the State entrance examination successfully as per the University prescribed procedure. The candidates must register at CBS though an application form.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

    DURATION:-  2 Years Full Time

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

    A graduate in any discipline form recognized university. Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation may also apply.

    SELECTION PROCEDURE:-

    The candidates may have to appear for MAT/ATMA/CAT or any other national level entrance test for AICTE approved PG level management programme. The students have to register with C.B.S through an application form which can be obtained from Institute’s campus or downloaded from the website.
    and subsequently appear in group discussion and interview for final selection.

Eligibility for MCA programme:-

Candidates looking for admission in this institute for MCA programme should obtain a BCA degree.

Admission in MCA programme:-

Admission is done through the entrance test i.e Punjab MET. Candidates will be selected based on the performance of this test.

Eligibility for MBA programme:-

Candidate must require a three years bachelor degree to get eligible for this programme.

Admission in MBA programme:-

Admissions are made on the basis of Punjab MET/ Graduation marks.
