Description

CCET, formerly known as Central Polytechnic Chandigarh (CPC) was established in 1959. College of Engineering & Technology (CCET), a premier technical institute located in the city beautiful, Chandigarh. The college is under the administrative control of the Chandigarh Administration and is affiliated to Panjab University. There has been integrated dynamic progress at CCET in Degree and Diploma programmes in academic and sports activities etc. to bring it at par with leading institutions of the country .

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering

    Fields of Civil Engineering and is capable of maintaining highest standards of technical education. It has maintained pace for updating qualification, publication work in Journals and contributing in seminars and conferences conducted by various professional organizations. Their efforts enable the students to excel in the field.

    Duration:- 3 years

    Eligibility:-     Pass in Matriculation (10 th Std)  or equivalent with pass in Mathematics, Science (Physics,Chemistry & Biology) and English as compulsory subjects.

    Admission Criteria:-     The admission to three years diploma course shall be made on the basis of merit of Joint Entrance Test (JET) conducted by State Board of Technical Education, Punjab, Chandigarh; provided the candidates are otherwise eligible for admission.

  • Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering

    Duration:- 3 years

    Eligibility:-     Pass in Matriculation (10 th Std)  or equivalent with pass in Mathematics, Science (Physics,Chemistry & Biology) and English as compulsory subjects.

    Admission Criteria:    - The admission to three years diploma course shall be made on the basis of merit of Joint Entrance Test (JET) conducted by State Board of Technical Education, Punjab, Chandigarh; provided the candidates are otherwise eligible for admission.

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering

    The field of Electrical engineering & technology in India as well as abroad. The students are being exposed to highly sophisticated and practical oriented visits to various types of industries and power stations.

    Duration:    - 3 years

    Eligibility:-     Pass in Matriculation (10 th Std)  or equivalent with pass in Mathematics, Science (Physics,Chemistry & Biology) and English as compulsory subjects.

    Admission Criteria:-     The admission to three years diploma course shall be made on the basis of merit of Joint Entrance Test (JET) conducted by State Board of Technical Education, Punjab, Chandigarh; provided the candidates are otherwise eligible for admission.

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

    Mechanical Engineering providing the fecund brains with the rudimentary knowledge in Mechanical Engineering. Instructions are imparted in the Areas of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Design of Mechanical Components and Machines, Techniques of Management, Computer Science, CAD/CAM. Design and Fabrication projects are also undertaken as a part of curriculum.

    Duration:- 3 years

    Eligibility:- Pass in Matriculation (10 th Std)  or equivalent with pass in Mathematics, Science (Physics,Chemistry & Biology) and English as compulsory subjects.
