Chembur Sarvankash Shikshan Shastra Mahavidyalaya was established by Chembur Education Society's. It is affiliated to Mumbai University.

Chembur Sarvankash Shikshan Shastra Mahavidyalaya has well stocked Library with more than 8,500 books, Digital room equipped with two computers with internet facility, Fixed LCD projectors, Educational technology lab with various types of ready as well as student made charts,pictures, models, projectors  and  audio-video materials, Computer lab houses almost 21 computers available.

    Eligibity to take admission to B.Ed. Course –

        * Graduates from any Recognized University, Agricultural University, Open University, and Deemed University in; Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, Agriculture Science are eligible to appear for C.E.T.
        * Along with the graduates, the candidates appearing for degree examinations of March/April  from any Recognized University , Agricultural University , Open University, and Deemed University in; Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, Agriculture Science are eligible to appear for C.E.T.
        * Candidates belonging to open and Reserve category must secure at least 18 and 15 marks in C.E.T.
        * The candidates, willing to get admission in English Medium colleges of Education, must appear for English Language Test along with CET. It is obligatory for the candidates to secure minimum 25 marks out of 50 marks to be eligible for the admission in the same.
        * Candidates having equivalent Degrees of other universities are not eligible for B.Ed. Admission. E.g. Sanskrit – Shastri Degree, Hindi – Sahitya Sudhakar etc.
        * For applicants of Open category, Other Backward Class (OBC), and Special Backward Class (SBC) category minimum 45% in degree examination. For applicants of Scheduled Caste category minimum 40% in degree examination. If any University has semester pattern then average percentage of marks for both the semesters should be considered.
        * Minimum percentage marks exemption

    The B.Ed. course comprises both theory (part A) & practicum (part B), each of 500 marks.

    Paper I: Foundations of Education
    Paper II: Educational Psychology
    Paper III: Educational Management and Educational Evaluation
    Paper IV: Information and Communication Technology in Education & Special Field.
    Section 2: The College offers a choice of the following special fields
    Action Research
    Environmental Education
    Guidance and Counseling
    Action Research
    Computer in education

    PAPER V:

    Any two Special Methods.

      * 4 Micro-skill Lessons and 1 Integrated lesson (Bridge) compulsory
          (No Marks)
        * 4 Simulated Lessons (Role play, Games, Models of teaching,
          Creative     techniques)         4x5=20 marks.
        * 2 Computer Assisted Presentation mode (One in each Special method)
          10x2=20marks
        * 20 practice Lessons of 10 marks each      10x20=200 marks
        * Unit Planning, Preparation of Unit Test, Administration of Unit Test,
          Scoring & Marking in any one special method       10 marks

    II Practical work (50 Marks)
    1.         Research- based Individual Project-Work (20 Marks internal guide,
               10 marks viva-voce by other staff member of the same college)30 marks
    2.         Seminar Presentation (in any one method)10 marks
    3         One Co-curricular activity Preparation and presentation encompassing
                core-elements of NPE.         10 marks

    III Year’s work (200 Marks)
    1.         Two Terminal Examinations            140 marks
    2.         Open Book Examination      10 marks
    3.         One Essay per section in each theory paper         50 marks
