Description

The Chetana Media Institute offers different and versatile streams of courses in Digital Filmmaking, through a scientific training package called Instruction, Production & Interaction. The Institute designed a comprehensive media training programme with one aim in mind: Create Professionals for the Digital Age, who can Write, Shoot & Edit cost effective films.

The course comes to a close with the Diploma film and the final Certification examination. On course completion, on-job-training is passed on to you at professional media production houses.

Chetana Media Institute Courses offered

  • Certificate Course in in Non-Linear Editing

    Two months part time course that imparts professional hands on training in Non-Linear Video Editing with Final Cut Pro software; also introduces the basic principles of film language and filmmaking

  • Certificate Course in Photography & Videography

    This programme differs from the above three courses in that here the thrust is on training beginners and semi-professionals and so the practical sessions is the priority rather than in-depth theoretical input

  • Diploma in Digital Film Making (Cinematography )

    Duration:- One year, Full Time

    Course Timings: Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm

    Eligibility: Plus II and above

    Course Content:-

    • Visual Psychology
    • Creative techniques for effective imaging
    • Characteristics of light
    • Lensing & Lighting (available & artificial sources)
    • Projects: Continuity, Short film, Documentary, TV shows (Multiple camera project),
    • Dialogue Sequence and Diploma Film
       

  • Diploma in Digital Film Making (Direction)

    Duration:- One year, Full Time

    Course Timings: Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm

    Eligibility: Plus II and above

    Course Content:-

    Kicks off with the 3-months’ Foundational Course and delves deep into the rigorous disciplines of:

    • Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production: Theory & Practical
    • Screenplay writing, Shooting script & Story board
    • Filming Techniques: Master shot & scene, Montage, Mise-en-Scene
    • Analysis of Master Directors, film genres and styles
    • Projects: Continuity, Short film, Documentary, TV shows (Multiple camera project),
    • Dialogue Sequence and Diploma Film
       

  • Diploma in Television Production

    Duration:- Six Months, Full Time

    Course Timings: Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm

    Eligibility: Plus II and above

    Course Content:-

    • Electronic Media: Formats & Genres
    • Electronic News Gathering
    • Field & Studio Production Techniques
    • Multiple camera productions in Studio Floor
