Description

CMC started in the year 2001 with upgradation course for Marine Engineer with DGS approval, since then a phenomenal progress has been made by introducing various DGS approved marine course with state of the art infrastructure.

  • B.E (Marine Engineering (Lateral Entry)

    Eligibility: Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Marine with 55% marks in final year or passed first year of engineering degree from Mechanical/Electrical stream with 60% marks from the college recognized by AICTE.

    Age limit : Below 25 years at the time of entry

    Medical standard : Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight distance vision up to 0.5 with no colour blindness.

    Duration : 3 years (6 semesters) fully residential course

    Degree offered by : Vinayaka Mission University, Salem

     

  • B.E (Marine Engineering)

    Eligibility :-  A pass in +2 or its equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry group & atleast 50% marks in English.

    Age limit : Below 25 years at the time of entry

    Medical standard     : Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight distance vision up to 0.5 with no colour blindness.

    Duration : 4 years (8 semesters) fully residential course

    Degree offered by     : Vinayaka Mission University, Salem


     

  • B.Sc (Nautical Science)

    Eligibility :-  A pass in +2 or its equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry group & atleast 50% marks in English.

    Age limit : Below 25 years at the time of entry

    Medical standard : Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight 6/6 with no colour blindness.

    Duration : 3 years fully residential course

    Degree offered by : Vinayaka Mission University, Salem.

     

  • Graduate Marine Engineering

    Eligibility : B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a college recognised by AICTE with 50% marks in final year, 50% in English in 10th / +2 / Degree

    Age limit : Below 28 years at the time of entry

    Medical standard : Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight distance vision up to 0.5 with no colour blindness.

    Duration : 1 year, fully residential course

  • Marine Electrical & Electronics

    Eligibility : B.E / B.TECH (EEE) from a College recognised by AICTE with 50% marks in final year, 50% in English in 10th / +2 / Degree

    Age limit : Below 28 years at the time of entry

    Medical standard : Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight distance vision up to 0.5 with no colour blindness.

    Duration : 4 Months

    Admission : Janunary / May / September

     

  • MBA (Shipping & Port Management)

    Eligibility:-:

    Any degree from a recognized University.

    (or)
    Mariners holding the qualification obtained after a minimum duration of study-cum-training of 6 years after 10+2 leading to:
    a) Master Foreign Going Certificate of Competency.
    (or)
    b) First Class Motor or Steam or Combined (Chief Engineer) Certificate of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping,Government of India or its counterparts in other countries.
     
    Age limit : -
    Medical standard : Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight distance vision up to 0.5 with no colour blindness.

    Duration :-  Minimum 2 Years

• Designed and built on a real time model, the Ship in Campus – T.S Clarissa is one of the best in the world.
