College of Engineering Chengannur was established in the year 1993 and is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi. The college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by NBA, the National Board of Accreditation. It is a premier institute of engineering that has carved a niche for itself in the field of technical education in a very short span of time and has made its presence felt in the technical horizon of the state. The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as Library, Canteen, Classrooms, Seminar hall, Reading hall, Laboratories, Medical facility, Sports, Workshop, Transport, Hostel accomodation. The college has a Parent - Teacher Association which provides support for the improvement in the infrastructure facilities and other activities towards the welfare of the students. The Training and Placement Cell of the College of Engineering, Chengannur is a body of active students, guided by Staff-in-Charge. It assists it students in career-planning, employment and providing information on higher studies. Student members are specially selected to carry out the responsible working of the cell.
