APIED was founded in 1980 at Vadodra by a group of like minded professionals who had a collective vision to establish an institutions of repute to impart quality education in Architecture and Interior design, The vision was formulated into reality under the aegis of Parisar Trust. Founder trustee of Parisar Trust included renowned individual in their chosen professionals namely late Ar. Suryakant Patel, late Shri Himmatbhai Patel, Ar. Rasik Shah, Er. Mahindra Modi, Shri Prabhudas Patel, and Shri Bhupen Kakkar.
 

•    The Institute campus is spread in more than 2 acres of land with beautiful landscaped gardens and greenery for better learning environment.

•    The institute’s library is well designed with rich collection of books and periodicals. It also has different space for reading in a very calm area.

•    It has a separate block for canteen which offers full meals and fast food. The canteen is maintained hygienically and offers food at very low price.

•    The computer lab of the institute is housed with latest computers and updated software required by the architecture department. It provides high speed uninterrupted internet connectivity.

•    The college also encourages its students to participate in inter collegiate competition in various fields like cultural, sports, academic, etc.

•    It has an auditorium where the management conducts various seminars and cultural activities to pull out the student’s hidden talent.
