Description

The D.M’s V.N.S. Bandekar College of Commerce was established in 1974. The college which was formerly affiliated to the university of Bombay, is presently affiliated to Goa University.

From the academic year 2006-07, the college started the self-financed Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Master of Commerce (M.Com) courses and the course of M.Sc in pharmaceutical Chemistry which has been sanctioned by UGC under Innovative Programme Teaching and Research in Interdisciplinary and Emerging areas has been introduced from the academic year 2009-10. The college has been recognized by UGC and has been reaccredited by N.A.A.C under the new scheme.
 

  • B.A

    Duration:- 3 years

    Eligibility for admission to Semester I & II (in the first year) B. Com. course:

     (A) To be eligible for admission to the Semester-I of the Three Years integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Commerce, the candidate should have passed (i) the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in the Commerce stream, OR (ii) the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) Examination conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in the Vocational stream in the subjects notified by the University, under this clause, from time to time, OR (iii) the Std XII (Commerce) or similar examination of another body equivalent to Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Goa and recognized as such by Goa University.

    (B) A candidate not covered under any of the above categories but desirous of seeking admission to the said course may apply to the college. However, the Registrar along with Dean of concerned Faculty and Chairperson(s) of Board(s) of Studies of concerned subjects shall decide the eligibility.

    (C) A candidate admitted for Semester-I shall be deemed eligible for admission to Semester-II.

    (D) A candidate migrating from another University and desirous of direct admission to Semester-II may be considered for admission provided he/she has cleared/passed First Term/ Semester-I examination of that University with those  subjects for which admission is sought and undertakes to successfully complete the other compulsory papers of Semester-I.

     

  • B.Sc (Chemistry)

    Duration:- 3 years

    Eligibility for admission to Semester I & II (in the first year) B. Com. course:

  • BBA

    Duration:- 3 years

    Eligibility:-

    A candidate who has passed XII standard examination is eligible for admission to BBA. Admission to a particular batch will be made based on an admission test, UGAT conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association) along with XII standard score.

    Admission to BBA will be based on Screening by admission committee constituted by the college and the score of entrance examination, namely, Undergraduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) with 100% weightage. UGAT is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi, every year in the months of May and December. UGAT is a prerequisite for admission to the BBA course of Goa University. The application forms for UGAT will be available at the college in the month of April. Application forms can also be obtained, by sending DD for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of AIMS payable at NEW DELHI, which can be sent on the following address.

  • BCom

  • I would like to enquire 2 things: 1) Has the S.Y.Bcom results for 2010-2011 been declared or not ?? If Yes, how do I check mys Son's result?? 2) Do the students who have been promoted to T.Y.Bcom have to answer any TEST (Practicals-30marks paper) in the coming week or the 1st Week June .
