Dharmarathnakara Dr Mahalingam Institute of Paramedical Sciences & Research College of Nursing was established in 2001 and it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University. The college is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), Government of India and recognized by Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai. The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as Library, Laboratories, Canteen, Transport, Placement, Sports, Clinical facilities, Hostel accommodation. Dharmarathnakara Dr Mahalingam Institute of Paramedical Sciences & Research College of Nursing has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. The college offers Diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), undergraduate and postgraduate courses in B Sc Nursing and M Sc Nursing.

  • B Sc (Nursing)

    Eligibility: Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent in science stream with minimum aggregate of 45% marks. In case of SC, ST categories 5% relaxation is allowed. Minimum and maximum age limit is 17 years and 35 years age, respectively.

    Admission Procedure: Applicants are selected on the basis of merit obtained in qualifying exam and as per the norms of university.
     

  • General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

    Eligibility: Applicants passed 10+2 in any stream with minimum aggregate of 50 % from any recognized Board, are eligible to apply for the course. Candidate must be of 17 years to 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission.

    Admission Procedure: Applicants are selected on the basis of merit obtained in qualifying exam and as per the norms of university.
     

  • M Sc (Nursing)

    Eligibility: Candidates should have passed B.Sc (Nursing) with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from any recognized University. Candidate must have 1 year experience. Candidates should not have completed 45 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

    Admission Procedure: Admissions are made on the basis of merit in intermediate exam.
