Description

East West Institute of Technology(EWIT) came into existence in the year 2001, in the enviable garden city of Bangalore, as a jewel in the crown of East West Group of Institutions under the banner of Subramanya Educational Society established nearly four decades ago. This Society and its Group of Institutions are the dream projects of its Founder Chairman Sri C. M. Nagaraj. a visionary, an acknowledged educationist, a philanthropist, a social worker and an elected prominent corporator of long standing. It is in fitness of his abilities and achievements that he was elected as the worshipful Mayor of Bangalore city for the year 2002-2003.

  • Master of Business Administration

    MBA course is to impart professional education and training in various aspects of modern management to the students and provide them with opportunities to develop conceptual and analytical skills and foster attitudes essential for their development into competent and effective managers in Business Administration.

    ACCREDITATION :-The course is affiliated to Bangalore University, recognized by Government of Karnataka and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.

    ELIGIBILITY :- Any Bachelor's Degree - (10+2+3 ) of a recognised University, with an aggregate of 50% marks, (except B.Pharm, B.Sc-Agri., MBBS) 45% for SC /ST.

    DURATION :- 4 Semesters (Two Years)
     

  • Master of Computer Applications

    Duration: 3 Years

    Eligibility: Bachelors Degree with not less than fifty percent of
    marks with Mathematics OR Statistics OR Computer Science OR Computer Applications OR
    Business mathematics OR Business Statistics as one of the optional or elective.

Infrastructure

•    The institute has urban infrastructure with well maintained building and all other amenities within it.

•    It has a library and an information centre with vast collection of books and journals. The library has all the required infrastructure and well trained manpower. It has a collection of more than 25000 books.

•    It provides transport facility to the desired students. EWIT also plies its modern buses and vans to various locations in the city to cater to the needs of faculty and students.

•    Separate hostels are available for boys and girls; while the hostel for boys is situated on the campus the girls’ hostel is situated at the city center close to the head office.

•    The campus canteen located in a strategic place serves delicious food at moderate rates. The stand adjacent to the canteen serves cold drinks, ice-creams and fast food.

•    The institute provides well furnished computer centre with high speed internet facility.

A candidate who has passed the Q. E. with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects in the Q. E. is eligible for courses in B.E.
