• Master of Business Administration (MBA)- Health Care Administration (Part Time)

  This program designed to develop initiative, analytical ability, effective communication & problem solving during situations arising in health services organizations.

  Duration:- 3 Years
  
  Eligibility Criteria:-
  
      * Every candidate seeking admission to the course shall have passed a Bachelors’ Degree Examination in Medicine of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
      * He/She should have at least five years’ experience in Hospital Administration after acquiring the Bachelors’ Degree in Medicine.
      * Five years’ experience shall be determined as on 1st August of the year of admission.
      * Candidate must be sponsored by his/her present employer.
  
  Selection Procedure:-
  
  Applications for admission to various programmes are invited through advertisements in major national newspapers in September/October every year. Application forms are distributed to interested candidates on payment of the application fees. The filled-in application forms are to be sent to the Administrative Officer, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 for further processing. Eligible candidates are be called for a written test and/or an interview.
  
  The selection will be made on the basis of an interview. Only those candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions will be called for an interview. The candidates will be required to produce original certificates and mark-sheets at the time of interview. The final list of candidates selected to the program will be announced after conducting all the interviews.
  
  Fee Structure:-
  
  The fee for various programmes is payable in three instalments every year. The approximate annual fee for the MBA programme is Rs. 11,000. The fee payable at the time of admission is approximately Rs. 6000.
  
   
  

• Master of Business Administration (Part Time)

  The three-year programme is designed to develop conceptual knowledge and behavioral skills in students who continue to work in industry, government or other organizations.

  Eligibility Criteria:-
  
      * Every candidate seeking admission should have passed a bachelor’s degree examination of at least 3 years duration with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Relaxation on this criterion may be made for those who scored more than 55% marks in aggregate in their post graduate degree or at least 60% in a Diploma in Personnel Management, Diploma in Management, Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Diploma in Administrative Management of the Delhi University conducted by the Faculty prior to the implementation of this particular scheme.
      * Candidates should have at least three years experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial, industrial or government establishment after passing the Bachelor’s Degree Examination.
      * Three years Full-Time experience shall be determined as on 1st August of the year of admission.
      * Candidates must be sponsored by his/her present employer.

• Master of Business Administration-Management of Services (Full Time)

  MBA (MS) is designed to create Excellence Leaders in the fast growing services sector. First of its kind, it is a regular full-time MBA programme geared towards fulfilling the needs of creating business leaders .
  
  Duration:- 2 Years
  
  Eligibility Conditions for Admission:-
  
  1. Candidates applying for admission to first year of the programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelors Degree Programme in any of the following disciplines.
  The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows: (I) Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences- 50%, (ii) Science-55%, (iii) Mathematics or Statistics- 60%, (iv) Medicine, Engineering or Technology- 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00
  
  Or
  2. Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.
  
  Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
  
  Total Number of Seats:-
  
  The total number of admissions for the year 2010 will be 75 seats.
  
  Selection Procedure:-
  
  All eligible candidates will be called for a written test, and on the basis of their performance in the test, they will be called for an interview, ex-tempore and group discussion/group task. The candidates will be required to produce original certificates, mark-sheets and other testimonials at the time of interview. The final list of candidates selected for the programme will be announced after conclusion of all interviews.
  
  Medium of Instruction:-
  
  English shall be the medium of instruction and examination.
  
  Fee Structure:-
  
  The MBA (MS) programme in the South Campus would have the same fee structure as that in vogue for MBA-FT in the North Campus (approved by the Academic Council and Executive Council). At present, the Annual Fees for MBA programmes for FMS is around Rs.9,500 (Rupees Nine Thousand Five Hundred only) per year. As all the recent published surveys show, from the students point of view, the MBA programmes of FMS would continue to be the most cost- effective high- quality MBA education offered by any other University or Institutions of Asia.

• Master of Business Adminstration (Full Time)

  Each student comes to FMS with unique professional and personal reasons for pursuing a masters degree in business administration. You have two years to explore, to be bold, creative and learn as much as you can.

  Eligibility Criteria:-
  
  1. Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (Full-Time) Programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows :-
  
      * Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
      * Sciences - 55%
      * Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
      * Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00
  
  OR
  
      * Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.
  
  Note : Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor’s / Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply.
  
  2. There is no reservation whatsoever for the graduates of Delhi university or the residents of Delhi.

• Ph.D (Management)

  Eligibility: Masters or M.Phil degree from recognized university or post graduate degree. Candidates with four years degree (B.E/B.Tech/MBBS) are also eligible to apply.
  
  Aggregate: 50% marks in equivalent grade of M.Phil or 55% marks in equivalent grade of Masters degree.60 or 70 percent marks in case of B.E/B.Tech/MBBS.

• Selection to the FMS MBA FT course will be based on CAT score, Personal interview and Group discussion.
• Shortlisted candidates are then called for a Group discussion and Personal interview round.
• The final selection is based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in the CAT Score as well as the group discussion and personal interview round.

The Placement Process at FMS Delhi aims to match the requirements of the Corporate World with the aspirations of the students thereby facilitating the achievement of synergy between the two. The process secured 242 offers for a total batch of 200 students (including both MBA and MBA – Management of Services batches) from a total of 91 companies.

Summer Placements:-

Summer Internship is one of an important and integral part of the Post-Graduate Programme, where students intern with their chosen organization for 8-9 weeks after their first year.

Lateral Placement:-

The students with more than 22 months of fulltime work experience were eligible to participate in lateral placement process. The companies participating were Barclays Bank, Standard Chartered, Bank of America, HSBC Essar Group, Times Group, RPG Group, Jindal group, KPMG, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers. The average salary package was 16.5 lakh p.a.

Final Placements:-

Final placements happen during the last term. A formidable array of the best companies in India and the world visit the campus year after year searching for the best talent. A total of 124 companies confirmed presence, of which 97 actually participated in the placements and 91 made final offers. The process managed on an average 1.21 offers per student. The The highest international salary was USD 150,000. The companies participating were Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, Religare, IFCI, HDFC, KPMG, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hewitt, Avalon Consulting, Cognizant, Mindtree, Capgemini, Asian Paints, Godrej Consumer, Britannia, Dabur, Godfrey Philips, AzkoNobel, Wipro Consumer, Johnson & Johnson Consumer.
