Description

Garden City College Courses offered

  • B.Sc Fashion and Apparel Design

    The 3 year graduate program aims to explore the fashion industry right from the process of creating a garment from design to production, the aesthetic aspects of display and marketing.

    Eligibility:- Pass in 10+2/ equivalent in any discipline
     

  • B.Sc Nursing

    This is a 4 year graduate study program with major emphasis on Clinical Training. The Students are sent to highly specialized Hospitals for their Clinical experience, where they undergo extensive practical training and exposure in the best Hospitals, enabling them to be prepared with exposure to the latest Equipments, Technology and Knowledge.

    Eligibility:- Pass in 10+2 / equivalent with 45% marks aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
     

  • BBM

    This program intends to present students with a definite and clear understanding of the different functional areas of business and catapults him/her into a career in Management.

    Eligibility:- Pass in 10+2 / equivalent in any discipline.

  • BCA

    BCA is a 3 year graduate program conducted in six semesters.

    Students who undergo this program acquire the required qualification to do significant work in the IT industry. The subjects covered in the course of study include the following Mathematical foundation for Computer Science, Programming in C, Computer Organisation and Micro processors, Business Communication and Personality Development, Discrete Mathematical Structures with Applications to Computer Science, Data Structures Using C, Database Management Systems, Object Oriented Programming using C++, Accounting and Financial Management, Computer Graphics, Software Engineering, Java Programming, Analysis and Design of Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence and Internet Information Technology.

    Eligibility:- Pass in 10+2/ equivalent in any discipline

  • BHM

    Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) is an under-graduate course offered by GCC under the Bangalore University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The Hotel Management Program is blended with value education inputs and Emphasis on holistic development of the students.

    Eligibility:- Pass in 10+2 / equivalent in any discipline.

  • MBA

    This 2 year Program offers a wide spectrum of business knowledge, conceptual and analytical skill to develop the students into competent and effective managers.

    Eligibility:-  A bachelors degree with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

  • MCA

    The MCA programme is a 3 year post graduate programme

    The programme prepares professionals who have realtime experience and exposure, both theoretical and hands-on, on the latest technologies. In addition to the regular curriculum, there are periodic seminars, project works and assignments which enable the students to sharpen their skills.Some of the subjects covered include Digital Logic, Com Probability & Statistics Computer Programming and Problem Solving, Data Base Management System Computational Numerical Methods, Data Structure Lab using C++, Digital Electronics and Microprocessors, Software Engineering, Data Base Management System Project, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, JAVA & J2EE, LINUX Programming, Bioinformatics Lab.

    Eligibility:- A Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and having studied Mathematics / Comp. Science / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Comp. Applications / Comp. Programming / Electronics / as a subject 10+2 or degree level.
