Government First Grade College Birur was started in the year 2007 and it is affiliated to Kuvempu University.     Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in any discipline from a recognized Board/University are eligible to apply for the BA/B.Com/BBA courses. Those who have cleared the examination in science subjects can apply for the B.Sc courses.

    Admission Procedure: Candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and as per rules and regulations prescribed by Kuvempu University, Shimoga and government of Karnataka.
