Description

Government Polytechnic, Mumbai was established in 1960. Government Polytechnic, Mumbai is an autonomous institution, committed to provide quality technician education at the Diploma, Post-Diploma and Advanced Diploma level. As a lead center for Mumbai region, it also aims to provide continuing education and non-formal programmes, adopting a philosophy of life long learning through a variety of delivery modes.

The Institute has MSBTE Equivalent / AICTE approved Diploma programs, NBA Accredited Programs in Mech / Civil / Electronics / Computer Instrumentation.

    After completion of this program the students will develop competencies in supervisory skills, estimation, costing & tendering, entrepreneurial skills, prototype testing and surveying.

  • Computer Engineering

    The students completing this program will develop competencies in computer hardware/ software, assembly, operations, system designing &C maintenance.

  • Electronics Engineering

    Electronics Devices & Circuits,Circuits & Networks,Introduction to C programming, Power Electronics,Introduction to Microprocessor,Electronic Measurements & Instruments,Data Communications,Linear Integrated Circuits & Applications,Computer Networking,Advance microprocessors & Micro-Controller,Advanced Communication and Advanced Industrial Electronics & Instrumentation.

  • Mechanical Engineering

    The students completing this program will develop competencies suitablefor the entry level supervisory skills in the area of manufacturing,quality control, design & drafting, CAD?CAM & measurements. Thepass outs have job potential as shop supervisors/section managers,design assistant, Quality Assurance supervisor, tool room supervisoretc.
