  B. Tech in Electrical Engineering provide advance education in engineering that is relevant to electrical power generation, transmission, distribution and its utilization. They work with microprocessors, fiber optics, and in telecommunication, television, radio etc.The uses are endless.

  Duration:- 2 years
  
  Eligibility: 10+2+3 or equivalent in any stream from any recognised University in India. Students also have to have a valid  MAT/WBJEMAT score to be eligible for GD & PI.

• MCA

  asters in Computer Applications (MCA) is considered to be a permit to a top-notch career in the IT Industry. The basic qualities required to get a grip in the IT sector are flexibility in mind set and the ability to grab new things fast. Since, IT courses involve learning new technologies with the changing demands of the industry, the students in this field are required to be fast learners.
  
  Duration:- 3 years
  
  Eligibility: 10+2+3 or equivalent in BCA/any stream with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science as one of the subjects from any recognised University in India. Students also have to clear the WBJECA examination of the current year.

Admissions to any of the four programmes offered in engineering are strictly following the guidance of West Bengal University of Technology. All candidates should have a valid rank in WBJEE / AIEEE and allotted a seat through Central Selection Counseling.
