Description

The Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, as the pioneer in the field of providing education in dental care and oral health in the state of Jharkhand, aims to provide state of the art facilities for oral health management besides creating a pool of well educated and trained Dentists who can serve the nation.

The College has a sprawling campus with well planned and beautifully designed buildings divided into different blocks and wings. The college takes pride in providing equipments and instruments which can easily be matched with the best available in the country. The College has already acquired a large number of books and journals for its library, besides providing in-house computer and internet facilities for access to relevant information from all over the world.

The College offers B.D.S. course Affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University and recognised by Dental Council of India (DCI) & Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

    Duration:- 5 years

    Eligibility:- 10 + 2 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English) with 50% marks

    Admission:- Admission through written test and will be conducted either by Jharkhand un aided Dental College Association/University

    Intake:- 100 Seats

Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital Admissions

Eligibility:-

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, Council or University and must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and must have passed in English, (40% marks for SC/ST) .

Selection Procedure:-

Selection will be made by written test and will be conducted either by Jharkhand un aided Dental College Association/University or as per DCI rule which will be communicated later on. Separate merit list shall be prepared for NRI Candidate. Syllabus for entrance test will be 10+2 level.

Seats:-

Each year admission for 100 seats in the BDS (bachelor of Dental Surgery) Course will be taken out of these 100 seats 15% seats are for management/NRI quota admission.

Fees:- The fees structures are to be fixed by the Jharkhand State Govt. as per the directives of Supreme Court of India.
