Description

Himalayan Institute of Engineering & Technology is promoted and fully funded by the Maa Saraswati Educational Trust keeping in mind the needs of students of Himachal Pardesh. B.Tech. degree course is approved by AICTE & is affiliated to H.P. University, Shimla. Himalayan Institute of Engg. & Technology is started so that the students of 10+2 Non Medical can avail of the opportunity to enter into Engineering profession. The curriculum has been recently revised paying greater emphasis on practical training and technology. It is hoped that a large number of our students will find their rightful places in public & private sectors around the country as well as abroad.

Himalayan Institute of Engineering & Technology offers B.Tech course in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering.

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility Criteria:-

        * 10+2 Non-Medical with 50% marks in PCM
        * 45% marks for SC/ST
        * AIEEE qualified

    Admission Procedure:-

        * Through centralised counseling by H.P.U
        * 15% management seats will be filled directly in the campus on the basis of eligibility

    Seats:- 60

  • B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering)

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility Criteria:-

        * 10+2 Non-Medical with 50% marks in PCM
        * 45% marks for SC/ST
        * AIEEE qualified

    Admission Procedure:-

        * 15% management seats will be filled directly in the campus on the basis of eligibility
