IMS-Design and Innovation Academy   was established in 2005, it has reckoned a position in the forefront of Design Education by incorporating all key features of Indian Governments National Design Policy.

DIA - Design and Innovation Academy is the eighth venture of renowned brand, IMS educational society; which has earned an excellent reputation through its industrial links and outstanding employment record.

DIA has an innovative course curriculum which is at the leading edge of Global Design Education. DIA’s approach is to provide a stimulating, highly creative experience for students which addresses the key features of successful design practice. Central to this approach is an in-depth understanding of Research and NPD New Product Development and a greater understanding of the Customer/Consumer.

  • B.Sc in Fashion Technology

    Duration:- 3.5 Years

    Eligibility:- 10 + 2

  • B.Sc in Jewellery Design

    This course prepares and grooms students for a highly rewarding career in Jewellery Design not only encompassing design but also technical know how in terms of Gold Smithing and Gemology. With the coming in of international jewellery brands in India the sector is becoming highly organized and requires skilled professionals. To fill in the lacuna ,the industry needs personnel in all areas to satisfy its rapid growth in both domestic and world markets. The Indian Jewellery and Gems market is one of the fastest growing industries in the world 15% every year. It is currently worth 13 billion US Dollars.

    TEXTILE DESIGN ENCOMPASSES THE TECHNOLOGY FOLLOWED THROUGH FIBRE TO FABRIC, FABRIC ANALYSIS AND DESIGN APPLICATION ON THE FABRIC THROUGH WEAVING, KNITTING, DYEING AND PRINTING TECHNIQUES OR SURFACE EMBELLISHMENTS. THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY PROVIDES RAW MATERIAL FOR APPAREL AND FURNISHING INDUSTRIES.

    Duration:- 3.5 Years

  • Post Graduate Programe in Retail Management (PGPRM)

    Retail is the final stage of any economic activity. By virtue of this fact, retail occupies an important place in the world economy. Retail is a significant contributor to the overall economic activities world over. India is evolving rapidly into a competitive market place with potential target consumers in the niche and middle class segment. Market trends indicate tremendous growth opportunities. Global majors too are showing a keen interest in the Indian retail market. It has been projected by the industry experts that the modern retail in India will witness a shortfall of talent in retail sector. At IMS DIA, Centre for Retail Management was launched in order to supply the quality managers capable of shouldering responsibilities on a highly competitive retail market environment.
