Description

The Indian Nursing Council is an Autonomous Body under the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare was constituted by the Central Government under section 3(1) of the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 of parliament.

The Indian Nursing Council has been established for nursing education for nurses midwife, Auxiliary Nurse-Midwives and health visitors by doing inspection of the institutions. It offers Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife , General Nursing & Midwifery , B. Sc (Basic), B.Sc (Post Basic), M. Sc., M. Phil, Ph D, Post Basic Specialty Diploma Courses .


 

Indian Nursing Council Courses offered

  • Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife

    Duration:- 1 and 1/2  years

    Eligibility Criteria:- 10 Pass

  • B. Sc (Basic)- Nursing

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility Criteria:- 10+2 Class Pass with 45% aggregate in PCBE

  • B.Sc (Post Basic) - Nursing

    Regular
    10+2 + GNM :- 2 years

    Distance
    10+2 GNM + 2year Exp.:- 3 years

  • General Nursing & Midwifery

    Duration:- 3 and 1/2 years

    Eligibility Criteria:    - 10+2 Class pass with aggregate of 40%

  • M. Phil (Nursing)

    Duration:-

    1 year (Full time)
    2 years (part time)
       
    Eligibility Criteria:-M. Sc.Nursing

  • M.Sc (Nursing)

    Duration:- 2 years

    Eligibility Criteria:-

    B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

    one year of experience after Basic B.Sc. or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

  • Ph D (Nursing)

    Duration:- 3-5 years

    Eligibility Criteria:-M. Sc./ M. Phil

  • Post Basic Specialty Diploma Courses

    Duration:- One Year

  • i am a bsc nursing graduate froms aims ,kochi.i would like to know about the bond kept by various institutions.now it has a become a law not to keep bond. is it appicable for existing bond or for new ones.i am having a three year bond in my institution.i have completed a period of 1 1/2 years.is that bond valid now?do i hav to complete the 3 year bond here.?hope to receive a reply soon.
