• Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance)

  The programme focuses on all areas of Financial Management i.e. markets, institutions, tools and techniques. Apart from traditional areas such as corporate finance, security analysis, investment management and financial & cost accounting the programme lays special emphasis on emerging areas such as risk management, behavioural finance and real estate finance.

  The academic objectives of the programme are:

  • To provide understanding of key issues in the area of Financial management, particularly, corporate finance, risk management, financial services and international financial management.
  • To provide a thorough knowledge of theory and practice in finance.
  • To provide a good understanding of financial markets and institutions.
  • To provide a practical knowledge of key management concepts and skills in accounting, finance, investment and risk management at local and global levels.

  Eligibility:-
  
  Minimum 3 years Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks in any discipline. Candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination can also apply.
  
  For PGDM (Executive): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Minimum 5 years work experience after graduation required. Company-sponsored candidates will be preferred.
  
  Admission Procedure:-
  
      * Candidate must have appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs
      * Apply to IMT by filling in a separate Application Form for registration. Application Form and Information Brochure can be obtained from IMT - Ghaziabad/Nagpur or select branches of Axis Bank or IMS learning centres or T.I.M.E. centres against a fee to be tendered in the form of DD or in Cash payment of Rs.1600/- (Rs.       * For online application for registration, a fee to be tendered by Credit/Debit card or by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1600/-(Rs. Sixteen Hundred Only) drawn in favour of Institute of Management Technology payable at Ghaziabad or Delhi.
      * Final selection will be based on CAT scores and subsequent group discussion and personal Interview to be held at Ghaziabad, Nagpur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Indore.

Admission:
Applicants for PGDM programmes must have a minimum three-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks in any discipline. Applicants who are appearing for the final-year degree examination can also apply. To apply for IMT Ghaziabad applicants must be registered for CAT 2012 or XAT 2013 or have taken the GMAT 1st January 2010 onwards.
