Description

Model Institute of Engineering &Technology (MIET) was established in 1988. It is fast developing as a center of quality education and training for engineers in diverse fields of specialization establishing rich tradition and practice in the process. It has been developed over an area of more than 25 acres or 10 hectares of land situated at a distance of about 13 kms from Jammu Tawi Railway Station and 9 kms from the City Bus Stand along old Akhnoor Road. 

Model Institute of Engineering &Technology (MIET) offers B.Tech course in Computer Sciences and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering., Electrical Engineering., Information Technology Engineering.

  • B.Tech (Computer Sciences and Engineering)

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:- Pass 10 + 2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

    Admission Procedure:- The admission of students to B.E. courses right from notification to the selection of candidates is made by the Competent Authority for Entrance Examinations (CAEE), an agency constituted by the J&K State Government. The institution admits only those students whose names figure in the list of selected candidates issued by the Competent Authority. The management however selects students under the NRI/NRI sponsored/other quota seats as per the regulations prescribed by the AICTE and State Government.
