Description

Konark Institute of Science & Technology (KIST) was established in 2001. It is affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology(BPUT) Rourkela and approved by AICTE and Govt. of Orissa.

KIST provides quality techno education in a highly disciplined environment at par with international standards special emphasis is given on development of students to empower them to stand up to the challange of the present employment market of the world.

  • B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering)

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:- Pass 10 + 2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

    Admission Criteria:    - As per the decision of Policy Planning Body (P.P.B),constituted by the Govt. of Orissa, 15% of total seats will be filled-up through AIEEE and another 15% of total seats will be filled-up by NRI students. Rest 70% of seats will be filled-up through only Orissa Joint Engineering Entrance (OJEE) - 2008.There won't be any other entrance test in Orissa other than OJEE this year.Three year Diploma holders(or appeared candidates) with 60% of marks and +3 Science graduates (or appeared candidates) with 60% of marks can take admission through Lateral Entry with OJEE or AIEEE rank in any branch.
