Description

L V Prasad Film and TV Academy provide quality and state-of-the-art Infrastructure. With decades of experience in Film processing and Post production services, Prasad group has Film Processing Labs, Shooting Floors, Outdoor Equipment Services, Sound Recording Theatres, Digital Intermediate facilities, HD center and Visual Effects Studio. All this is spread over the six main film production centers of India. It will be our endeavor to ensure that students get to learn and practice on all our facilities so that they can go out and contribute to the film and TV industry with utmost confidence. A significant highlight of the academy is that the students will be learning in the busy and working environment.

Scholarship

Students who perform creditably over a sustained period will be invited to apply for Scholarships on a Merit-cum-Means Basis.

  • Diploma in Editing and Sound Design

    L V Prasad Film and TV Academy offers Diploma in Editing and Sound Design course. This is a full time course. The duration of this course is one year. Course is designed for Editing and Sound Design for films. Students will get the opportunity to have hands-on training in the sophisticated world of Digital Sound and Editing. Students in this course spend over thousand hours of practical instruction and actual production time using Steenbeck Analog Film Editing systems, Avid HD Editing System, Pro Tools-Audio 24-Track Consoles, along with a Dedicated and Fully-Equipped Sound Studio.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Cinematography

    L V Prasad Film and TV Academy offers Post Graduate Diploma in Cinematography course. This is a full time course. The duration of this course is two years. The course covers all the topics related to the field.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Direction

    Students here get trained in the visualization process of both Cinema and Television. Not only should a director know the ability to script well and show a towering sense of leadership but should also be very well conversant with all the other technical fields of the audio-visual process. The first year is comman to all students, it is in the second year that the main challenges of leading the team come up. All of them will be made with the state of art facilities available at the Prasad Studios. The Direction students will interface with leading filmmakers who will come on a regular basis to discuss their ideas and scripts.
