Description

LB and SBS College was established in the year 1964 and it is affiliated to Kuvempu University. The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as well stocked Library, Well equipped lab, Hostel accommodation. LB and SBS College has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. The college provides guaranteed placements facilities to the students. LB and SBS College offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in various streams.
 

LB and SBS College Courses offered

  • B.Sc

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination, or its equivalent, from any recognized Board/University with science stream can apply for the B.Sc course.

    Admission Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and as per rules and regulations of Kuvempu University, Shimoga and government of Karnataka. For admission to BBM program, final selection will be made after group discussion and personal interview session.
     

  • Bachelor of Arts

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination, or its equivalent, from any recognized Board/University in any stream are eligible to apply for the BA/BBM courses.

    Admission Procedure:  Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and as per rules and regulations of Kuvempu University, Shimoga and government of Karnataka. For admission to BBM program, final selection will be made after group discussion and personal interview session.
     

  • Bachelor of Commerce(B.Com)

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination, or its equivalent, from any recognized Board/University with subjects, like Accounts, Maths and Economics are eligible to apply for the B.Com course.

    Admission Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and as per rules and regulations of Kuvempu University, Shimoga and government of Karnataka. For admission to BBM program, final selection will be made after group discussion and personal interview session.
     

  • M.com

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed graduation with economics and commerce from any recognized College/University are eligible to apply for the MA and M.Com courses, respectively.

    Admission Procedure: Candidates are offered admission as per the marks obtained in the respective graduation streams and according to the norms prescribed by the competent authority.
     

  • Master Of Arts

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed graduation with economics and commerce from any recognized College/University are eligible to apply for the MA and M.Com courses, respectively.

    Admission Procedure: Candidates are offered admission as per the marks obtained in the respective graduation streams and according to the norms prescribed by the competent authority.
