Description

M.S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy was established in 1992. Today it is one of the best pharmacy institutions in the country, in terms of laboratory facilities and faculty, the college has been identified as "Model Institution" for quality and standards.

The M.S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy provides 3 main courses of study in the field of Pharmacy Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D), Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm)

M.S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy Courses offered

  • B.Pharm

    B.Pharm will extend over a period of four academic years. The curriculum and syllabus for the course will be prescribed from time to time by RGUHS.

    Duration:- 2 years

    Eligibility:-

    • 10 + 2 examination in science with not less than 50% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M or P.C.B or P.C.M.B, P.C and Computer science, PC and electronics.
    • Candidates who have passed D.Pharm course with not less than 50% aggregate approved by Pharmacy Council of India Shall also be eligible to this course


     

  • D.Pharm

     PharmD comprises of six academic years (five years of study and one year of internship or residency) full time with each academic year spread over a period of not less than two hundred working days. The period of six years duration is divided into two phases.

    Duration:- 2 years

    Eligibility:- 10 + 2 examination in science  with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 60%  marks in  aggregate of the above subjects.

  • M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry)

    M.PHARM is a Post Graduate course run by MSRCP and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

    Duration:-     2 years

    Eligibility:-

    • B.Pharm with not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years) prescribed for the qualification examination shall be eligible for the admission to the M.Pharm.
    • 50% of the maximum marks in case of SC/ST/Karnataka category

     

  • M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy)

    M.PHARM is a Post Graduate course run by MSRCP and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

    Duration:-     2 years

    Eligibility:-

    • B.Pharm with not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years) prescribed for the qualification examination shall be eligible for the admission to the M.Pharm.
    • 50% of the maximum marks in case of SC/ST/Karnataka category
