MGR Institute Of Hotel Management And Catering Technology (MGR IHMCT) was established in 1993 by Sri Muthukumaran Education Trust. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. It is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, New Delhi

The College premises are fully equipped to facilitate the students with technologies, which will encourage them in learning well and securing good opportunities.

The College has fully equipped Kitchen with modern equipments and training is given hands-on to all the students.
