Description

Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology is brought up under the able guidance of Board of Governors, headed by Hon’able Technical Education Minister, Govt. of Punjab. Located in the Green Field Enclave, Malout (Punjab),the self contained campus is a beautiful academic and administrative three storied building spread over 25 acres land which has been magnificently and aesthetically designed by the Chief Architecture of Punjab.
   
MIMIT is the only Govt. Institute to offer MBA & B.Tech programs in Punjab. It is presently offering four undergraduate courses i.e. B.Tech.-IT, CSE,ECE and ME and one postgraduate course MBA
   
MIMIT is 3rd of its kind in India to offer certified courses recognized by SUN Microsystems.   • B.Tech (Computer Science)

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:-

    He/She has passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination (Science Stream) with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith any of the subjects of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Comp. Science & Engineering Technology courses & has passed in English, and also has qualified CET 2005. A Candidate appeared/appearing at qualifying 10+2 examination held during March/April 2005 shall also be eligible to appear in the entrance test. The admmission of such candidates shall be proviosional and shall stand automatically cancelled if he/she fails to qualify in the aforesaid examination and such candidates will have no claim, whatsoever, to take admission to the courses.

    He should have passed 10th or 10+2 examination with science stream with aforesaid subject and has passed Diploma in any Engg. Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh or SLIET, Longowal and has also qualified CET

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:-

    He/She has passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination (Science Stream) with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith any of the subjects of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Comp. Science & Engineering Technology courses & has passed in English, and also has qualified CET 2005.     A Candidate will be eligibile for admission to B.Tech. (ECE, CSE, Mech., IT) if he/she fulfills the following conditions.
