Description

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal (MANIT-B) started functioning in 1960 at Govt S.V. Polytechnic with an intake of 120 students and seven faculty members

The Institute is successfully meeting the objective of producing skilled manpower of the highest quality who are able to cope up with challenges of ever evolving industrial needs of the country.     Duration:- 3 years

    Eligibility:- Graduation with Mathematics in 10 + 2 level

    Admission Criteria:- Admission through NIT MCA Common Entrance Test score merit list.

  • MBA

    Duration:- 2 years

    Eligibility : The candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe or Person with Disability category), of any of the Universities incorporated in any act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institution established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification examination can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally and will be required to submit the result (Marksheet by 31st July).

    Admission Procedure : Candidates applying for MBA are required to have appeared in CAT-2009. The admission to MBA will be on the basis of CAT score. Cutoff percentile and selection criteria in case of tie in CAT score shall be decided by the Institute.

Infrastructure

•    The institute campus is spread in 264 hectares of land with various buildings for different subjects.

•    It has a medium sized library with good collection of books and subscribed journals for the latest technical updates in the country.

•    It also has different laboratories for different subjects like Mechanical engineering, Electronics engineering, etc. The laboratories are well equipped with all the required apparatus.

•    It has an auditorium within the campus where the college organizes various events like cultural program, special lectures, college fest, etc.

•    MANIT offers separate hostels for both boys and girls with all the modern facilities viz; pure drinking water, power backup, 24 hours security service, with well furnished rooms.

•    Along with the high quality education the college also provides sports facilities for the all round development of its students.

•    Other facilities provided by the institute are canteen, VIP guest house, ATM & bank, post office, dispensary, stationery, etc.
