Description

Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) was established in the year 1954. It is affiliated to B.R.A. Bihar University & approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) is located at the north-west corner of the Muzaffarpur city along Muzaffarpur- Motihari road, spread over an area of 55 acres at a distance of about 4 kilometers from Muzaffarpur junction. The institute is flanked by the holy river "Boorhi Gandak" on north, a quite big water reservoir on the east, Muzaffarpur-Motihari road on south and local road network on west.

  • B.Sc (Civil Engineering)

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:-     The minimum academic qualification for admission through an entrance Examination is a pass in the final examination of the Intermediate, 10+2 system or its equivalent. Those appearing in the Intermediate final or equivalent examination may also appear in the Entrance Examination for consideration of provisional admission. All provisional admissions will stand cancelled, if proof of having passed the qualifying examination(Intermediate or equivalent) is not submitted to the institute at the time of counseling. If an applicant is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to the MIT, his/her admission will be cancelled.

    Admission Criteria:-     B.Sc.(Engg.) Admission in MIT to four years B.Sc.(Engg.) course is made through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The candidates desirous of seeking Admission in MIT are advised to appear in Screening & Main Examination of B.C.E.C.E.

     

  • B.Sc (Electrical Engineering)

    Duration:- 4 years
