N.R.A.M.Polytechnic was established in the year 1982. The campus is situated in a sprawling area of 100 acres. Being adjacent to the State highway from Padubidri to Kudremukh, transportation to and from the campus is hassle free with a plethora of express and local busses plying the route. N.R.A.M.Polytechnic is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University (V.T.U), Belgaum and recognized by All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Polytechnic is provided with laboratories, workshops and machine-shops, which are fully equipped with adequate machines. The library has a total floor area of 9,508 sq.ft. It has about 10,945 volumes on various subjects of engineering for study, reference and research. The campus has an indoor stadium of 11,000 sq.ft which provides necessary infrastructure for outdoor sports like athletics, throwball, basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, and indoor games like shuttle badminton, table tennis, weight lifting, chess and carrom. The stadium also has a fully equipped gym. The canteens in the campus cater to the requirements of the students and staff. Snacks, soft drinks and meals are served at reasonable rates. Hostel facility is available for outstation students on a cost sharing basis. The college also provides transportation facility to the desired students & also ATM within the campus. The college offers various courses in the field of Engineering.
