Description

National Institute of Engineering Mysore is located in cool and pollution free environment in Mysore, Karnataka. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NIE-Mysore was established in the year 1946 with a view to impart quality education in the field of engineering. It is one of the oldest colleges in the state. The college is top listed in the engineering colleges of the country due to its faculty and campus. It has world class faculty which not only teach but also guide its students to face the business world. The college is managed so well for the convenience of the students.

Infrastructure

NIE-Mysore is located on the outskirts of the city in a sprawling campus of about 18 acres. The college has all the facilities beyond your expectations. It has 3 different blocks viz; Golden jubilee, Administrative, and Diamond Jubilee Sports block. It has more than 3 auditorium, well stocked library, fully furnished laboratories, computer centre, etc. The institute also provides various sports facility to the students. The hostels for boys and girls are equipped with solar water heater, television, and indoor games. It also has bank and health centre within the campus. NIE has developed NCC and NSS units for the welfare of the society.
