Description

National Power Training Institute (NPTI) has been set up by the Government of India under the Ministry of Power, to function as the National Apex Body for Human Resources Development of Indian Power Sector. NPTI is located at Faridabad.

NPTI offers two years full time MBA (Power Management) course approved by AICTE is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University Rolitak & 4 years B.Tech/B.E. (Power Engineering) courses

  • B.E - Power Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)

    The program coverage includes the regular inputs generally provided in B. Tech.. programs and lays special emphasis on Indian Electricity Act 1956, preparing skilled Engineering Executives for the power sector.

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:- Pass 10 + 2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

    Selection Procedure:- Selection through AIEEE score

     

  • MBA (Power Management)

    MBA program in Power Management one of its kind in the sub-continent to meet the huge requirement of Power Managers in Ministry of Power is massive efforts of attaining self-sufficiency in Power Sector and run the Indian Power Sector on Commercial lines.

    Duration:- 2 years

    Eligibility:- B.E. or equivalent (General - 60% Marks in aggregate of all Semesters, SC/ST- Min. Pass Marks)

    Selection Procedure:- Selection through CAT score followed by GD and Interview at NPTI, Faridabad.

Presently i am working with a third party inspection company in a thermal plant. I have 6 years of experience.
