Netes Institute of Technology and Science mirza was established in the year 2009. NITS is located in a pollution free area with a serene ambience.
The institute is developed in a 20 acres of land. The institute also has Schools for Science and Management education in the same campus.The entire institute is affiliated with Gauhati University and approved by AICTE. The institute has a 6000 sq.ft. of library, a 3000 sq.ft. of computer centre, a 9000sq.ft. of modern workshop, State-of-the-art laboratories, Classrooms, and also 100000sq.ft. playground and a gym.The institute has a good faculty, Computer centre, Sports and Recreation, Medical help, Guidance and Placement. The institute has a very strong line up of highly qualified faculties in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Chemical Engineering and Humanities.
NITS Mirza is located on the National Highway 37, located just 28 km from the city centre of Guwahati and 6 km from the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport , Guwahati.
The College offers four year Bachelor of Engineering courses in various streams like Computer science and engineering, Electrical and electronics engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Mechanical engineering.
