• B.E (Marine Engineering)

  The program is affiliated to Anna University.
  
  Approval from D.G. Shipping, Ministry of Transport and Shipping Government of India.
   

  • Must pass 10+2 course with PCM and aggregate marks of at least 60%
  • Must have 50% marks in English at 10th or 10+2 standard.
  • The eligibility criteria for admission to second year Marine under lateral entry scheme is a pass with 60% marks in Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a pass in all the subjects in the I and II semester of B.E Mech./EEE.

  
  MEDICAL FITNESS
   

  • Eye Sight: 6/12 maximum.
  • Should be free from diabetes and hyper tension.
  • Should be totally free from AIDS / HIV + ve.
  • Should not have any record of major ailments or functional disorders of major organs.
  • Candidates are to be medically examined prior to admission as per Merchant Examination Rules.

  • (Weight should proportionate to height and age and accordingly allowable - 10%)

Eligibility:-

• A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

• Candidates with B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A./M.Sc. degrees obtained through week end courses and B.E./B.Tech. through distance mode are not eligible.
