Description

People's College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre is sponsored by Sarvajanik Jankalyan Parmarthik Nyas (SJPN), a charitable non profitable Public Trust.Government of Madhya Pradesh granted desirability and feasibility certificate, vide letter No. 2-57/2002/55 dated 08-05-2002 for 100 seats. Barkatullah University, Bhopal issued Letter of Consent for Affiliation vide letter No: 110/Acad/02 dated 21.08.02

Govt. of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi accorded permission to establish the new Dental College vide letter No: V 12017/30/2002-PMS dated 06/01/2003 .PCDS & RC is recognized by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi vide letter No. V-12017/30/2002-PMS/DE dated 31-07-07

The College was permitted to start the M.D.S. courses in seven specialties of Prosthodontics, Orthodontia, Periodontia, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Community Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Conservative Dentistry by Govt. of India from 2008-09 . The permission is renewed for 2009-10 .Permitted to start the MDS courses in additional two specialties i.e. Pedodontia and Oral Pathology by Govt. of India from 2009-10

NAAC ACCREDITATION / ISO CERTIFICATION

    * PCDS & RC is one of the 8 Dental Colleges in India to be accredited by NAAC
    * PCDS & RC is the youngest Dental College to obtain accreditation, after 5 years of establishment
    * PCDS & RC obtained 2.84 CGPA (out 0f Maximum 4 CGPA )- equivalent to B+++ of former grading
    * PCDS & RC is also an ISO 9001:2000/ SR EN ISO 9001:2001 Certified Institute

  • B.D.S.

    Duration:- 5 Years

    Eligibility:

    For admission to BDS Course, those candidates who have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education M.P. or CBSE having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects independently and have secured at least minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together and must have passed English also.

        OR
    Those who have passed any equivalent or higher examination with the aforesaid subjects from any other recognized Board, University with the percentage of marks as mentioned above.

    Admission:

    Admission to the BDS and MDS course is done through is written test which is conducted by Association of Private Dental and Medical College of Madhya Pradesh (APDMC of MP). After conduction of written test open counseling is done by the body and candidates who secure best ranks / marks get the colleges as per merit list only.

     

  • MDS (Oral & Maxillo-facial Surgery)

    Duration:- 3 Years

    Eligibility:-

       1. The candidate must have passed BDS course from any of the recognised Dental Colleges in India.
       2. The candidates must have undertaken studies in an institution recognised by the Dental Council of India.
       3. Candidate must have completed compulsory rotating internship from an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India.
       4. Candidate must be registered with the Dental Council of any State in India.

    Admission:

    Admission to the BDS and MDS course is done through is written test which is conducted by Association of Private Dental and Medical College of Madhya Pradesh (APDMC of MP). After conduction of written test open counseling is done by the body and candidates who secure best ranks / marks get the colleges as per merit list only.


     

  • MDS (Community Dentistry)

    Duration:- 3 Years

    Eligibility:-

       1. The candidate must have passed BDS course from any of the recognised Dental Colleges in India.
       2. The candidates must have undertaken studies in an institution recognised by the Dental Council of India.
       3. Candidate must have completed compulsory rotating internship from an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India.
       4. Candidate must be registered with the Dental Council of any State in India.
