Description

The Prestige Institute Of Management was set up in the year 1997 by Prestige Education Society, Indore registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The Society was setup by Prestige Group of Industries with an objective to meet the widely felt need for globally oriented Management and Information Technology education and training for professionals. The Institute has grown to be recognised as a premier Institute for higher learning.

It is a major learning center in Central India and has been Ranked among the top 1000 B-Schools in the world, Ranked 47th among top 50 private B-Schools in India according to a survey conducted by mint-c fore survey 2008 and placed in 'A+' category among Management Institutions according to a recent survey published in 'Business India' (Issue: October 19, 2008). PIMG is the only Management Institute in Gwalior region to be put in 'A' category for both MBA and MCA programs by the fee fixation committee constituted by Government of M.P.

The Institute has approval of All India Council for Technical Education & the State Government and is affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior & Rajiv Gandhi Prodhyogiki Vishwa Vidyalaya, Bhopal.The Institute offers MBA, MCA, BBA and BCA programmes. Jiwaji University, Gwalior awards the degree for MBA, BBA and BCA programmes and RGPV, Bhopal awards the degree for MCA programme.

  • Bachelor of Business Administration BBA (Full Time)

    This program offers promising opportunities to young students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Arts, Commerce or Science and are interested in entering professional domain.

    Duration:- 3 Yrs.Full Time

  • Bachelor of Computer Applications BCA (Full Time)

    This program helps those students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Arts, Commerce or Science with Mathematics as one of the subjects & want to develop themselves as software expert in future.

    Duration:- 3 Yrs.Full Time

  • M.B.A. (Masters of Business Administration)

    Approved by AICTE,HRD Ministry, M.P.Govt. and affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

    Duration:- 2 years, 4 semester

    Eligibility:- Graduation in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks.

    Admission Process : Admissions to MBA M.P. domicile seats are carried out by DTE, Govt. of M.P. through counseling on the basis of merit list prepared using MPMJET test (conducted by VYAPAM) scores ( 80% weightages) and scores in Group Discussion and Personal Interviews (10% weightage to each). Admission to MBA All India seats are carried out by DTE, Govt. of M.P. through counseling on the basis of merit list prepared using ATMA test (conducted by Association of Indian Management Schools) scores (80% weightage) and scores in Group Discussion and Personal Interview (10% weightage to each).

  • M.C.A. (Master of Computer Application)

    A Three year (6 semester) programme, Approved by AICTE,HRD Ministry, M.P. Govt. and affiliated to Rajiv Ganghi Proudhogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.

    Eligibility     : Graduation in any stream from a recognized University with mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level.

    Admission Process : Admissions to MCA (both M.P. domicile and all India seats) are carried out by DTE, Govt. of M.P. through counseling on merit based on Pre MCA test conducted by VYAPM

Infrastructure

The strikingly modem PIMG campus, specifically designed to create a stimulating atmosphere, is located at Airport Road, Near Deen Dayal Nagar, Gwalior, a prominent site, 3 kms from Maharajpur Airport, 7 kms from Railway Station and 7 kms. from Main Bus Stand. The campus is aesthetic, user friendly, spacious, well lit and comfortable. The serene and peaceful environment supplemented by greenery all around provides right setting for learning.
