It is a self finance, private institute The institute has receince the affiliation from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University and it is approved by All India council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is accreditated by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi.

It was came into existence in 1990 with an aim to produce quality manpower, equipped with such human and social values required to integrate excellent technical skill, social character, leadership, creativity and innovation for the benefit of mankind and sustainable development of India and to promote research in the emerging disciplines. The institute offers degree programmes in 6 Engineering Disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Technology & Information Technology and Civil Engineering. The Institute offers an MCA programme and MBA Programme also.
