Description

RVCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Being located away from the city the college provides all the modern facilities to satisfy student’s need. It was started in the year 1963, since then it is the best co-educational college in Bangalore. Apart from its academic performance the college is also equally interested in extracurricular activities like sports, cultural activity, festival, etc. The institute never disappoints its students in case of placement facility.     Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure:-

    Candidates having B.Arch. Degree from a recognised University with 50% aggregate marks are eligible.

    Admission can be obtained under three categories:

        * Candidates with valid GATE score can apply directly to VTU.
        * Candidates have to write PG-CET conducted by VTU usually in the month of June / July (for details refer website www.vtu.ac.in ).
        * Direct admission by School of Architecture, RVCE – Portfolio review (maximum 10 pages) and interview (if there are vacant seats available after VTU counseling).

Infrastructure

R V College of Engineering has Sprawling campus spread over an area of 52 acres set in sylvan surroundings. The college has a large and stunning campus with lush green lawns and serene ambience; it provides an appropriate environment for academic work. The college campus has a very lively place that is its canteen where students haunt with friends and enjoy delicious food with friends. The college being away from the city it offers transport facility to the interested students. The campus has Ing-Vysya bank which enables students to pay their college fees and other expenses. It also has a health care centre to meet all the health problems among students. For the all round development of the students’ college encourages outdoor sports like Cricket field, Football field, Hockey field, Volley ball court, etc. The hostel of the institute makes you remember the comfort of your home with proper mess facility and security. The computer lab of the institute provides high speed internet facility for the students.
