S.B. Patil College of Engineering was established in 2010 and it is affiliated to University of Pune. The college is approved by All India council for Technical Educaion (AICTE). The college provide special attention to making every pass-out, a ready-to-employ person. Training is provided to students to enhance soft-skills, group discussion and aptitude test capabilities as well as interview techniques. Special training courses are organized for students and faculty by world renowned industrial organizations to make them conversant with the ever-changing industrial requirements. The students are provided with ample opportunities to develop their talents and abilities and to aspire for excellence in academic and personality development. The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as Library, Canteen, Mess, Transport, Gymnasium, Workshop, Hostel accomodation. The college have a full fledged training and placement cell headed by senior staff members as placement and training officer assisted by placement co-ordinators which gives training to all the students on Comprehension, Soft skills in communication, Fluency in English speaking, Career planning, Aptitude test, Group discussion and also conduct mock interviews for final year students to become employable in campus interview.
