Description

S V K P and Dr K S Raju Arts and Science College was established in the year 1945 and it is affiliated to Andhra University. The college is situated in 14 acres of land on the right bank of the Nidadavole-Narasapur canal in Penugonda, West Godavari District. Penugonda is 20 Kms from Tanuku. Rajahmundry, a historical and cultural town is about 55 kms from Penugonda. S V K P and Dr K S Raju Arts and Science College offers several undergraduate and post graduate courses like B A, B Sc, B Com, M A (Political Science), M Sc (Industrial Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Mathematics/Organic Chemistry/Botany/Zoology), M B A (Master of Business Administration), and M C A (Master of Computer Applications).

The growth of the college is reflected in the increase in the student enrollment figures of about 300 in 1974 to 1957 at present. The college has spacious RCC buildings to accommodate the class rooms and laboratories. The college provides guaranteed placements facilities to the students. The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as well stocked Library, Well equipped lab, Hostel accommodation.

    Eligibility: The candidates who have passed two year P U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in any subject are eligible for the B A/B Com courses in respective subjects. Those who have completed the same in Science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.

    Admission Procedure: The admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in PU level as per the norms of Andhra University.

  • B.Com

    Duration: 3 years

    Eligibility: The candidates who have completed their P U examinations of Andhra State P U Board or its equivalent recognized as 10 +2 level in any subject are eligible for the B A / B Com courses. Those who have completed the same in science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.

  • BA

    Eligibility: The candidates who have completed their P U examinations of Andhra State P U Board or its equivalent recognized as 10 +2 level in any subject are eligible for the B A / B Com courses. Those who have completed the same in science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.

    Admission Procedure: The admissions of the selected candidates are based on the merit in the qualifying exam and as per the norms of Andhra University.

    Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline

    Admission process:- Admission on the basis of ICET exam.

  • MCA

    Duration 3 years

    Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subject in 10+2.
