Description

Sakthi College of Nursing was established in 2007 and it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University. The college is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), Government of India and recognized by Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai. The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as Library, Clinical facilities, Transport, Recreation, Sports, Canteen, Laboratories, Hostel accommodation. Sakthi College of Nursing has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. The college offers undergraduate course in B Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
 

Sakthi College of Nursing Courses offered

  • B Sc (Nursing)

    Eligibility: Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent in science stream or Intermediate Vocational (Nursing or MPHW) or Inter, with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences and should have secured minimum aggregate of 45% marks. In case of SC, ST categories, 5% relaxation is allowed. Candidates should have completed 17 years age and should not have exceeded 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.

    Admission Procedure: Applicants are selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and counseling conducted by the college, for all available courses.
     

  • General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

    Eligibility: Applicants passed 10+2 in any stream with minimum aggregate of 50 % from any recognized board, are eligible to apply for the course. Candidate must be of 17 years to 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission.

    Admission Procedure: Applicants are selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and counseling conducted by the college, for all available courses.
