Description

The Central Government Under Section 10A (4) of the Dentists Act, 1948, granted permission to start BDS course with 40 admission from the academic session 1995 -96 in respect of Santosh Dental College, Ghaziabad. Initially the course started with 40 students. The Central Government granted permission for increase of student capacity from 40 to 100 from 2004-05 batch onwards.

The students are given a complete understanding for the biological and physical process of oral health care. They learn the skills associated with theprevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to oral cavity.

The students learn to serve the society by improving the dental and oral health of its citizens. The associated dental Hospital provides specially dental care in pediatrics and oral surgery

Santosh Dental College Courses offered

  • B.D.S

    Duration:- 4 + 1 Year Internship

    Eligibility:-

    Eligibility: HSC With Physics, Chemistry & Biology

    Admission:-

    The Association of Private Medical, Dental, Paramedical, Paradental & College of Allied Health Sciences is the only authority for conducting Combined Medical Entrance Test.
    Admission to member institutions will be made purely on merit on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the prescribed / science subjects in the entrance test.
    Duration of the courses will be as prescribed by the Concerned Councils / Authorities.

    Pattern
    The examinations would comprise of one session of 3 hours duration. There will be 180 Multiple choice questions with 4 answer choices to each question. Candidates will be tested in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botony and Zoology or Maths (for BMRD & IT and BMLT).
    Question Paper Patern
    The break-up of questions would be as follows:
    Physics
    60 Questions
    Chemistry
    60 Questions
    Botony and Zoology / Maths
    60 Questions
    (for BMRD & IT and BMLT).
    Total
    180 Questions

    Duration:- 3 Years

    Eligibility:- BDS From recognised University

    Admission:- Admission through Combined Medical Entrance Test Score Merit List


     

  • MDS (Conservative Dentistry)

    Duration:- 3 Years

    Eligibility:- BDS From recognised University

    Admission:- Admission through Combined Medical Entrance Test Score Merit List


     

  • MDS (Orthodontics)

    Duration:- 3 Years

    Eligibility:- BDS From recognised University

    Admission:- Admission through Combined Medical Entrance Test Score Merit List


     

  • MDS (Pedodontics)
