Description

Sathyabama University was established in 1987 as Sathyabama Engineering College, was granted Deemed University status by ministry of Human Resources Development under the Section (3) of the UGC Act on 16th July 2001, which the institute sought.We are very happy to inform you that, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has accorded the University status to our Institution.

The institute is accredited with “B++” grade by the National Board of Accreditation, which is the highest by any Deemed University in the State of Tamil Nadu besides being accredited by the institution of engineers from Section A and  B and has ISO 9001:2000 certification.

The University consists of a sprawling campus spread over 350 acres on the IT Highway of Chennai city. The insitute’s infrastructure includes more than 125 class rooms, laboratories,drawing halls, work shops, central and deparmental libraries, hostels, audio visual halls, spacious dining halls and sports facility.

The university has a management board which has representatives from the institution’s management, UGC Nominee, and faculty members, planning and monitoring board and finance committee, academic council and board of studies.

The university has a spectrum of courses which includes Post graduate courses for working professional for enhancing their academic achievements on one end, and non formal education for the rural youth, with certificate courses being offered as a part of the university’s interest towards social responsibility for the economic and social development of rural areas on the other.

The institute is now poised to enter into the 7th year of attainment of University status, with many more milestones to achieve and several new ventures to undertake. We welcome one and all who are aspiring to join this arduous yet fruitful and rich journey at Sathyabama University.

    Duration:- 1 year             

    Eligibilty     :- Any Degree from a recognized University

  • B. Sc. (Hotel Management)

    Duration:- 3 years

    Eligibilty:- Should have passed HSC (10+2) from any state board or CBSE    

  • B.Arch

    Duration:- 5 years

    Eligibility:- Should have passed HSC (10+2) from any state board or CBSE with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with an average mark of 50%, English as one of the language subjects and should have appeared NATA exam

  • B.D.S(Bachelor of Dental Surgery)

    Duration:- 5 years with Integrated Internship

    Eligibilty :- Should have passed HSC (10+2) from any state board / CBSE / ICSE with Biology, Physics, Chemistry.

  • B.E ( Information Technology)

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:- Should have passed HSC (10+2) from any State Board / CBSE / ICSE with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.

  • B.E (Computer Science And Engineering)

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:-     Should have passed HSC (10+2) from any State Board / CBSE / ICSE with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
