School of Electrical and Communication Sciences (SECS) was established as integral part of the B.S. Abdur Rahman University. The college is affiliated to the B.S. Abdur Rahman University. B.S. Abdur Rahman University is formerly known as B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Engineering Colleg. The University is located in the outskirts of Chennai city on the G.S.T. Road. Being one of the largest engineering institutions in India.
