Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Management Studies and Research is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra and it is affiliated to Mumbai University. The institute came into existence to impart an excellence in Business Administration in the era of globalization and advanced information technology. The institute is committed to transmission of knowledge. Its chief mission is to serve the nation as a centre for the advancement, preservation and discrimination of knowledge.
It aims at endowing its Pupil with a perfect synthesis of moral and human values, ancient wisdom and modern ideas and techniques. The college is spread over a campus in a picturesque environment girdled by smiling greenery with wholesome atmosphere for calm and peaceful pursuit of studies. Apart from the regular faculty members, experts & from the various public or private sector industrial undertaking and multinational organisations, board corporations and financial institutions to expose the students to real life situation. A separate full fledged Training & Placement Cell has been established in the Institute and has made significant progress in a short span of time. Training & Placement Department is fully functional and proactive.
