Smt. Indira Gandhi Government First Grade College for Women was established in the year 1991 and it is affiliated to Kuvempu University.     Eligibility: Candidates seeking admission in BA/BBM courses should have passed 10+2 examination, or its equivalent, from any recognized Board/University. Those who have passed the same in science and commerce subjects can apply for the B.Sc and B.Com courses, respectively.

    Admission Procedure: Selection of the candidates is made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and as per norms of Kuvempu University, Shimoga and government of Karnataka. For admission to BBM program, candidates are enrolled on the basis of performance in group discussion and personal interview.
     

  • Bachelor of Arts
