Description

South Point College of Education is situated in Sonepat, Haryana and it is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University. The college works under Mange Ram Educational & Charitable Trust and it is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). South Point College of Education offers postgraduate level programme, that is, Master of Education (M. Ed). The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as well stocked Library, Well equipped lab, Hostel accommodation.

South Point College of Education has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. The college provides placements facilities to the students. The college offers undergraduate level teacher training programmes like one year Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed) programme and one year Master of Education (M.Ed) course.

  • B.Ed

    Eligibility: The candidates having passed graduation with at least 45% marks from any recognized University may apply for this UG programme.

    Admission Procedure: The aspirants are short listed on the basis of MDU B. Ed entrance test, which is conducted by the University.
     

  • D.Ed

    Eligibility: The candidates must have passed 10+2 level of examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from any recognized Board.

    Admission Procedure: Candidates are selected through the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination and counseling.
     

  • M.Ed

    Eligibility: The aspirants must have done B. Ed from any recognized University.

    Admission Procedure: Candidate has to appear in M. Ed Entrance Test conducted by the University.
