St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women was established in the year 1957 and it is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as well stocked Library, Well equipped lab, Hostel accommodation. St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. The college provides guaranteed placements facilities to the students. St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women imparts teacher’s training programmes, which are imparted at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate level - Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed).
 

St. Joseph College of Teacher Education Courses offered

  • B.Ed

    Eligibility: Graduation in any stream with not less than 45% marks in aggregate is needed to be eligible for this UG programme. For TTC, the candidates are required to have passed 12th standard of examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from any recognized state/national Board.

    Admission Procedure: The candidates are short listed on the basis of Kerala B. Ed Entrance Exam, which is conducted under the Government of Kerala. For TTC, the selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination and performances in the personal interview.
     

  • M.Ed

    Eligibility: The candidates are required to have cleared B.Ed examination recognized by any University.

    Admission Procedure: The candidates are selected to this PG programme on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination.
