Description

Ever since its inception in 1993, SCMHRD has strived to bring Indian ethos, management concepts and technological advances together in an effort to redefine the management paradigm in the new age.

In 2006, SCMHRD was included under the aegis of the Symbiosis International University.

Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) Courses offered

  • Executive Masters in Business Administration(Ex-MBA)

    SCMHRD, a flagship institute under the prestigious Symbiosis International University started a unique MBA program for working professions. The uniqueness of this program lies in the program structure which is similar to our full-time MBA program. Even the faculties teaching this program are the ones that teach our full-time program.

    Working professionals can continue their work and obtain an MBA degree through this program.

    Duration: The program is offered over 30 months comprising 5 semesters.  Students are offered general management subjects in the first two semesters, after which they can choose their elective subjects from various functional areas. Viz. Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations and IT Systems. The last semester, students are required to do a live project.

     Intake: SCMHRD will admit a maximum of 45 students

    Eligibility:-

    Bachelor’s Degree of any statutory University or any other recognized Foreign University with three year post-qualification work experience in reputed organization.

    OR

    Diploma of any University/Board or any other recognized foreign University with five year experience in reputed organization

    Selection Process:     Candidates will have to appear for Group Discussions and Personal Interview. Each of the rounds can have independent testing panels. In addition, weightage is given to the candidate’s academic consistency, qualifications, work experience and extra-curricular activities. Candidates will has to submit their Recommendation Letter and State of Purpose (SOP) along with the application form. Selection procedure will be conducted the first week of July at SCMHRD campus, Hinjewadi.

  • Post Graduate Certification in Entrepreneurship

    DURATION:- 6 Months (Classes will be held on weekends : 12 – 15 hrs. per week)

    INTAKE:- 30 participants

    ELIGIBILITY:- Bachelor’s Degree of any statutory University or any other recognized Foreign University.

    SELECTION PROCESS:- Candidates should first submit the application form that can be downloaded from this website. They shall then be called for Personal Interview.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA)

    DURATION:- 12 Months (three to four days a week)

    INTAKE:- 60 students

    ELIGIBILITY:    - Bachelor’s Degree of any statutory University or any other recognized Foreign University. OR Diploma of any statutory University/ Board or any other recognized Foreign University with 2 years work experience

    SELECTION PROCESS:-

    Candidates should first submit the PGDOM application form that can be downloaded from SCMHRD website. They shall then be called for Group Discussions and Personal Interview.

    In addition, adequate weightage shall be given to the candidate's academic background & qualifications, work experience and extra-curricular activities.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Finance (PGDF)

    This PGDF program is meant for executives already working in Finance/Accounting function as well as those who aspire to work in Finance function in near future having either accounting, economics, science or engineering background.

    DURATION:- 12 Months

    INTAKE:- 50 students

    ELIGIBILITY:- Bachelor Degree/Diploma of any statutory University or any other recognized Foreign University.

    SELECTION PROCESS:-

    Candidates should first submit the PGDF application form that can be downloaded from SCMHRD website. They shall then be called for Group Discussions and Personal Interview.

    In addition, adequate weightage shall be given to the candidate? academic background & qualifications, work experience and extra-curricular activities

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)

    PGDHRM is designed to provide the skills required to manage and develop human capital in the national and international environment. The focus areas include Behaviour in Organizations, Strategic HRM, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, Organization Development and Change, Training & Development, Labour Law and IR, Cross Cultural Management, International HRM

    DURATION:- 12 Months

    INTAKE:- 60 students

    ELIGIBILITY:- Bachelor’s Degree of any statutory University or any other recognized Foreign University. OR Diploma of any statutory University/ Board or any other recognized Foreign University with 2 years work experience

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT)

    The program focuses on techno-functional knowledge and skills required by management professionals who plan to work for Indian and multinational organizations. It provides the students with application of technology in business management perspective and introduces them to the latest concepts and practices related to technology and functional areas of management.

    DURATION:- 12 Months

    INTAKE:- 60 students
