Description

G E Shipping owes its success to the foresightedness of two families - the Sheths and the Bhiwandiwallas, who started their own shipping line to help expand the reach of their trading businesses. The Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies Courses offered

  • Graduate Marine Engineering (GME)

    Eligibility:- Pass 10 + 2 in Science

    Admission Procedure:- Admission through Merchant Marine Personality Evaluation (MMPE) test./ interview/ medical examination

  • Trainee Electrical Officer (TEO)

    Duration:- 3 months on shore followed by 6 months on board training

    Eligibility:-

    Graduation in BE (Electrical, Electronic & Instrumentation)

    OR

    Diploma in Electrical Engineer from a Government recognized Polytechnic or recognized University

    AND
    Minimum 50% marks in English subject at 10th or 12th or in Degree Exam conducted by a recognized board or University

    Age Limit:- Upto 30 years

    Fees:- Rs.1,40,000/-


           



     

  • Trainee Navigating Officer Cadet (TNOC)

    Pre-Sea Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) affiliated to IGNOU- D G Shipping

    Duration:- 12 months On shore followed by 18 months on board training

    Eligibility:- Pass in 10+2 from recognized board with not less than 60% marks in PCM

    Marital Status:- Unmarried

    Fees:- Rs. 4,00,000/-
